EHCCA Program Statement

We want to ensure that each child receives the best early learning and care experience possible. Our primary goals include promoting health, safety, nutrition, social skills, and overall well-being of children.

Families are valued as active participants in their child’s care. Respect for the diversity of children, their families and caregivers are important to our agency.

Values

Our agency has a strong commitment to supporting high quality, early learning and care. We view children as ‘being competent, capable, curious and rich in potential.’ We ensure that home child care providers foster the children’s exploration, play, inquiries, and enhance children’s ability to self-regulate. Activities within the home child care setting include those based on the foundations for learning outlined in the “How Does Learning Happen” document. Add link to HDLH
